"Train Wreck"

One of my good friends at Pacific is a Graphic Designs major. Her name is Maria Boyle and she is a Junior. This is a picture from her blog and the piece is titled "Train Wreck."

One of the things I most admire about Maria is her eye for beauty in things that society may not necessarily deem as beautiful or "artistic."

When I see this image, you may think, "Sure, it's just a train covered in graffiti. What's new?" And while this may not be anything new in Stockton, what I like about it is that the graffiti can tell an individual or unique story.

I'm not sure what the story is of the picture, but I see the phrase "Size 21" a couple times. Maybe this is a logo, or symbol, for something. Maybe it's the name of a band? Either way, it's something that was worth painting.
