Cover. I used puff paint for a lifted texture on the cover & purple is my favorite color. |
pg 1&2. I used the boxes to emphasize "Family", with the cursive writing attached, and light lines with hearts to add design. |
pg 3&4. I decided to cut out the center of these pages and hang the saying. The surrounding pages have unifying shapes and words (love, family, hearts, etc) |
pg 5&6. I used gift paper for the background for a different texture, along with the puff paint |
pg 7&8. I used pastel pencils for these pages |
pg 9&10. I cut out hearts and wrote the saying in pastel pencils. The picture of my kids is centered for emphasis on them. |
pg 11&12. I used pink puff paint for a different texture around the computer generated words of "love" |
I recently had a baby (2mo old now) so am overjoyed with family and love... which I decided to use for my book idea. I looked at the website you had sent with examples on making the book and I decided to glue together many pages, because the book was way too long. I'm not sure if this helped or made it more difficult. The book opened and closed different because of it. That is probably the only problem I had. The rest just came from the heart.
