There are so many different styles of art. My mother and grandmother love to paint and draw... I do as well, but find it so time consuming and really haven't had the time through-out the years. My brother loves music, he plays the guitar beautifully. My sister is more the dramatic type - loves to act. I have actually found photography to be my favorite hobby.
I took a few photography classes quite a few years back and loved it. It was so different than the every day pictures I take of my kids. It was refreshing having to look at ordinary things in an entirely different manner and finding beauty in things we would normally overlook or even find repulsive.
Of course, I took tons of pictures of my son :o) but being able to blur the background or catch him in motion was so much better than the standard everyday camera. I used an old-school Nikon camera that had belonged to my great grandfather to take all these pictures, which also brought fond memories. It was a chore learning to focus the complicated lenses, adjust the shutter speed and all the other knobs and buttons, but I enjoyed every minute of it, and will probably take more classes in the future.
