Never knew how color coordinated my back yard was!

Kathryn Wardenburg

As I sit on my back steps looking out into my backyard it has many different colors and is very bright and fun. When I look out, our outdoor table including the chairs is as black as coal, sitting almost right in the middle of our back yard. The table sits six people like a normal dining room table; the chairs have a lime green square cushion on them for you to sit on and for your back a smaller square pillow patterned with a dark avocado green with white and brown in it. Right in the center of the outdoor table is a big umbrella which is a dark green color, a little bit darker than an avocado color. Behind the outdoor table half circling it is a wooden pergola, which is a light brown redwood color. The pergola has four wooden poles holding it up. Up on top of the pergola on the right hand side is a tree from against the fence resting itself onto the pergola. On the two last poles of the pergola are matching pot plants that are as big as a large size bouncy ball sitting on the ground. The two pots are ceramic with a lime green strip at the bottom of it and the top half is all a dark drown. The ground under the outdoor table is a light grey concrete stamped in the shape of little rectangles everywhere and is shaped like a small baseball diamond with home plate being in the far bottom left corner, there is some room to play on the grey ground before you hit the outdoor table. Right after the pergola about two inches only in-between the middle two wooden poles and the far left one is a small rock wall, and a little bit behind the rock wall is our fence, in-between the rock wall and the fence are plants, lining the ground back there is all ivy and on the left side is a fun plant that sticks up out of the ground like one of the center pieces you put out for fourth of July. On the right side closet to the last right pole of the pergola is a big tree passing way higher than the pergola and has many branches. Underneath the tree on the ground is all ivy lining down that side of the yard. On the right side our fence just goes straight down to the side of the house but from where I am sitting you can’t see any fence because there is a big bush the height of the fence shaped like a big rectangle. Below the big bush covering the fence is a little more ivy covering the ground and right by the grey ground concrete bright green plants lines it. The fence behind our outdoor table is a dark brown color and at the  very top of the fence is a slanted crisscross pattern and you can see through the little squares.
