My first idea is to cut out the center of every page in my book and leave the frame of each page, so they resemble the water, an then to add a sailing ship in the center with waves. 

 My second idea came out sideways, but basically i would use the cover of my book and cut a hole through the center to make a door that would open and close towards the outside. The theme would have to do with the quote "When one door closes, another opens". I'm thinking about keeping the outside of the book very dark and gloomy and the inside of the door very bright and optimistic.

 My third idea would have to do with the theme of flowers. I would fold most of the pages on the inside of my book so that they resembled either tall grass or a bouquet, and then add flowers made out of paper to the center by filling it up.

These are just basic sketches to what the original project would be if I did end up choosing either one.
