I wanted to clear up and add to my post. My fist post has two ideas on it, the first one was the shark bite and outdoor hula girls and surfer. The second is the ocean animals with the spinning fish.

My third idea is a Hawaii tiki idea:
This would be the cover page of the altered book. It would be called Tiki since its a tiki book
The first page would be a beach and a big ocean, I would draw the palm tree on a different paper and cut it out and make it pop out.
On the second page I would glue a few pages together and cut out a circle, then get two pieces of string and draw a tiki in the middle. The tiki would be able to spin around.
The last page would be filled with lots of green and have a big tiki in the middle of the page.
Sorry I realized my first post didn't clearly state that those were two different ideas, and here is my third idea in this post :)

I am in Hawaii this week so I thought for my altered book I would do a Hawaiian book!

This would be the cover page saying "Hawaiian fun in the sun", I was thinking about drawing waves and water in the background and draw the title in leaves.

This is the post card that will go on the bottom half of the cover page

This is the second page of the book and it will be a sandy beach and the ocean in the back ground. There will be more hula dancers on the page and I will be making them pop out with a peace of paper, so they look like they are popping out of the page.

This is the third page, this page will be a big shark bite. I will take a bunch of pages and glue them together to make it look more realistic.

On the next page which is next after the shark bite is a big wave and a surfer in the wave, with the surfer I was going to draw him separately and cut him out and make him pop out like the hula dancers.

Since the first few pages were outdoors and on the sand and a surfer I thought the last few pages should be under the water. So this page is under the water with sea creatures, I was also going to make all the sea animals pop out.

On the next page in between the two ocean scenes, I am going to glue a few pages together. In the middle I will cut out a big circle, then take the strings and put them in between the pages. Between the two strings in the middle of the circle will be a big colorful fish! This fish will be able to spin.

The next page on the other side of the spinning fish there will be more of the ocean. With a turtle and star fish, these sea animals will also pop out like the hula dancers.

This will be the last page or the back cover page. I thought this would be a good saying to end the altered book.

I was going to draw flowers around the saying "Beautiful Journey of Hawaii" and make it colorful. There is a postcard in the middle, to make it more colorful, and its a real picture.

Here is my sketches of my book :)
